Endowment Fund Reaches Million Dollar Milestone
A permanent endowment fund may have been only a glimmer in the eyes of the visionary founders of the Calistoga Education Foundation back in 1987, but with the continuing success of our auction and fall/winter fundraising campaigns we have been able to provide yearly grants to the Calistoga public schools and fund an endowment.
We have achieved what seemed unimaginable only a couple of years ago by reaching the million dollar mark in our endowment fund. The fund, administered by Edward Jones and managed by the CEF board, has given us a permanent resource to enhance the education of the children of Calistoga now and in the future. ($1,004,461 market value as of January 31,2008).
